Proceeding contribution from Baroness Scotland of Asthal (Labour) in the House of Lords on Tuesday, 24 January 2006. It occurred during Debate on bill on Racial and Religious Hatred Bill.
Racial and Religious Hatred Bill
My Lords, in moving the Motion that the Bill do now pass, I should say to the noble Lord that all this will be passed over to the other place, which will be able to deal with it. For procedural reasons we were not in a position to table amendments in this House, so noble Lords have not had that opportunity. But all this will be dealt with in other place. We should now allow the Bill safely to go on its way.
