Proceeding contribution from Earl Peel (Conservative) in the House of Lords on Monday, 30 January 2006. It occurred during Committee of the Whole House (HL) and Debate on bill on Natural Environment and Rural Communities Bill 2005-06.
Natural Environment and Rural Communities Bill
The noble Lord, Lord Carter, has made an interesting point. My amendment would apply only to Natural England. It would not apply to local authorities or more widely, so the added bureaucracy to which the Minister’s letter referred would not apply.
