Proceeding contribution from Duke of Montrose (Conservative) in the House of Lords on Wednesday, 8 February 2006. It occurred during Committee of the Whole House (HL) and Debate on bill on Natural Environment and Rural Communities Bill.
Natural Environment and Rural Communities Bill
I thank the Minister for her reply. Perhaps this is one way in which the Government are trying to overcome the fact that they have had to appoint more or less a shadow body already and it has only been the Secretary of State who has had power to appoint people. I beg leave to withdraw the amendment. Amendment, by leave, withdrawn. [Amendments Nos. 237 and 238 not moved.]
