Proceeding contribution from Baroness Miller of Chilthorne Domer (Liberal Democrat) in the House of Lords on Monday, 27 February 2006. It occurred during Committee of the Whole House (HL) and Debate on bill on Natural Environment and Rural Communities Bill.
Natural Environment and Rural Communities Bill
I thank the Minister for his reply, which he will not be surprised to discover I find slightly disappointing. I am sure that he would agree that, back before women were given the vote, whether they should do so was probably called a ““well worn issue”” when it was debated time and again. Some issues of democracy are just that.
