Proceeding contribution from Gordon Prentice (Labour) in the House of Commons on Wednesday, 1 March 2006. It occurred during Adjournment debate on Burnley General Hospital.
Burnley General Hospital
The Minister referred to the White Paper on social care and health. There is a reference in it to ““fully fledged”” accident and emergency departments. I invite him to tell hon. Members what the Government mean by that phrase, and to say whether that is what Burnley general hospital will have.
