Proceeding contribution from Lord Hodgson of Astley Abbotts (Conservative) in the House of Lords on Monday, 20 March 2006. It occurred during Debate on bill and Committee proceeding on Company Law Bill [HL].
Company Law Bill [HL]
I am grateful. This is obviously technical stuff. It would be economical for me to say that,"““lawfully made . . . under Part VIII””," is at my fingertips. We need to take further advice on whether this is a serious inhibition for corporate reconstructions. If so, we will come back. I thank the Minister for his reply. I beg leave to withdraw the amendment. Amendment, by leave, withdrawn. Clause 566 agreed to. Clause 567 [Redeemable shares]: On Question, Whether Clause 567 shall stand part of the Bill?
