Proceeding contribution from Lord McKenzie of Luton (Labour) in the House of Lords on Monday, 20 March 2006. It occurred during Debate on bill and Committee proceeding on Company Law Bill [HL].
Company Law Bill [HL]
I have not misled the noble Lord. Section 211 of the 1985 Act does not require the company to be satisfied. Therefore, a three-day limit is okay in the circumstances. It is not in the provisions because of that requirement.
