Proceeding contribution from Lord Greaves (Liberal Democrat) in the House of Lords on Tuesday, 21 March 2006. It occurred during Debate on bill and Committee proceeding on Electoral Administration Bill.

Electoral Administration Bill

IĀ support every word that the noble Lord, LordĀ Norton of Louth, has said. The amendment is sensible. Changes to other legislation could follow quite easily. A huge amount in this Bill applies to parliamentary elections. It will be followed by secondary legislation to apply to council elections et cetera. Furthermore, a Liberal-Democrat candidate in the north-west was affected during the past couple of years.
