Proceeding contribution from Baroness Byford (Conservative) in the House of Lords on Monday, 27 March 2006. It occurred during Debate on bill on Natural Environment and Rural Communities Bill.
Natural Environment and Rural Communities Bill
My Lords, I am grateful to the Minister. We have had quite a few discussions on this issue both within and outside the Chamber and I am glad that the Minister and the Government have managed to find a form of words. While obviously the amendment does not refer specifically to rural areas, we appreciate that the Bill also covers urban areas. We welcome the amendment. On Question, amendment agreed to.
