Proceeding contribution from Baroness Byford (Conservative) in the House of Lords on Monday, 27 March 2006. It occurred during Debate on bill on Natural Environment and Rural Communities Bill.

Natural Environment and Rural Communities Bill

My Lords, I spoke in Committee and on Report on this, and I particularly endorse the comments made by the noble Lord, Lord Carter. I hope that they are a very good example of what the Commission for Rural Communities will do, and I am grateful to the Minister for retabling the amendment.
