Proceeding contribution from Chris Huhne (Liberal Democrat) in the House of Commons on Wednesday, 29 March 2006. It occurred during Debate on bill on Natural Environment and Rural Communities Bill 2005-06.

Natural Environment and Rural Communities Bill

The hon. Gentleman is right to correct me. I hope that we can prevail on Ministers to do as he suggests. The amendments show clear proportionality in examining the code of practice, which we greatly welcome, and limiting the ground for entry to property to search for proscribed pesticides in situations of reasonable suspicion. We are therefore happy to support them. Lords amendment agreed to. Lords amendments 12 to 14 agreed to.
