Proceeding contribution from Lord Wakeham (Conservative) in the House of Lords on Monday, 24 April 2006. It occurred during Debate on bill and Committee proceeding on Health Bill.
Health Bill
I wish to make a comment before the noble Earl seeks to withdraw the amendment. I have listened to what has been a constructive debate on both sides. Can the Minister say whether he thinks that the draft regulations will be published before the Bill receives Royal Assent—that is, before the deliberations on it finish in this House? It seems to me that that would meet many noble Lords’ requirements.
