Proceeding contribution from Lord Warner (Labour) in the House of Lords on Monday, 24 April 2006. It occurred during Debate on bill and Committee proceeding on Health Bill.
Health Bill
The noble LordĀ alluded to a tragic case, but this Bill covers enclosed spaces and workplaces. The space around a hospital is not, by definition, an enclosed space as IĀ understand it. The policies that may be applied by individual trusts are for them to determine. That is the position so far as this legislation is concerned.
