Proceeding contribution from Earl Howe (Conservative) in the House of Lords on Monday, 24 April 2006. It occurred during Debate on bill and Committee proceeding on Health Bill.
Health Bill
The Minister covered all four of my amendments fully, for which I thank him. There was just one point that he did not pick up, in relation to my Amendment No. 16. He spoke of scientific research, but I am concerned also by commercial, consumer-related research. He does not have to give me a definitive answer now—in many ways, I would rather that he did not—but will he be so kind as to take that thought away for consideration?
