Proceeding contribution from Lord Clement-Jones (Liberal Democrat) in the House of Lords on Monday, 24 April 2006. It occurred during Debate on bill and Committee proceeding on Health Bill.
Health Bill
What objection does the noble Lord have? He says that the problem is the way the questions are formulated. What objection does he have to the following question:"““Looking at the following list of public places, please tell me how strongly, if at all, you would support or oppose a law to make it smokefree””?" Then there is a list of hospitals, offices, taxis, restaurants, cafes, shopping centres and so on. Is that a terribly loaded question?
