Proceeding contribution from Lord Thomas of Gresford (Liberal Democrat) in the House of Lords on Wednesday, 26 April 2006. It occurred during Committee of the Whole House (HL) and Debate on bill on Violent Crime Reduction Bill.
Violent Crime Reduction Bill
We now have no idea who could be the subject of an order by the Secretary of State to bring 16 to 18 year-olds, for example, before the court for a breach of a drinking banning order. I do not think that is a very satisfactory reply, and I shall return to it. But for the moment, I beg leave to withdraw the amendment. Amendment, by leave, withdrawn. Clause 10 agreed to.
