Proceeding contribution from Viscount Bridgeman (Conservative) in the House of Lords on Wednesday, 26 April 2006. It occurred during Committee of the Whole House (HL) and Debate on bill on Violent Crime Reduction Bill.
Violent Crime Reduction Bill
I am sorry that the word ““whim”” did not find favour with the noble Lord, Lord Borrie. Perhaps ““subjective judgment”” would be more appropriate. However, I accept that the Minister’s intention is for the designations to be as objective as possible. In the light of that, I beg leave to withdraw the amendment. Amendment, by leave, withdrawn.
