Proceeding contribution from Baroness Walmsley (Liberal Democrat) in the House of Lords on Tuesday, 2 May 2006. It occurred during Debate on bill and Committee proceeding on Safeguarding Vulnerable Groups Bill [HL].

Safeguarding Vulnerable Groups Bill [HL]

I thank the Minister for confirming from the Dispatch Box that the situation that my amendment would bring about will be brought about by the Bill. His statement on the record is a considerable comfort and second only to having the wording of my amendment in the Bill. I am minded to accept his word for that and am perfectly satisfied with it.
