Proceeding contribution from Lord Goodhart (Liberal Democrat) in the House of Lords on Monday, 8 May 2006. It occurred during Committee of the Whole House (HL) and Debate on bill on Electoral Administration Bill.
Electoral Administration Bill
I must confess to being a little surprised by this amendment because if it is agreed that some interest, on becoming payable, should be rolled over rather than be paid then and there, it is extending further credit and is plainly a new transaction.
