Proceeding contribution from Lord Addington (Liberal Democrat) in the House of Lords on Wednesday, 17 May 2006. It occurred during Committee of the Whole House (HL) and Debate on bill on Violent Crime Reduction Bill.
Violent Crime Reduction Bill
IĀ support the noble Baroness. It will be interesting to see if we can get some assurances that all those bits of legislation that I, for one, have spent so much time trying to get in place deal with issues such as this. Disabled people may be disrupted, but it is also quite possible that they are part of the problem. Just because you are disabled does not make you a saint or a sinner, and maybe they have been out drinking too much as well.
