Social Security (Income Support and Jobseeker’s Allowance) Amendment Regulations 2006
My Lords, that is the point that has been made and we shall consider it. As I said a moment ago, if any jobseekers are shown to be disadvantaged by the eight-week limit, we shall consider extending that provision. So I am introducing some degree of flexibility here, which is what noble Lords appear to be aiming for.
