I thank the Minister for his detailed answer. He said in response to the earlier amendment of the noble Baroness, Lady Murphy, that in the consultation the pharmacy bodies expressed a wish to see these powers clarified and defined. This is what the amendment seeks to do. With the exception of the vending machines—to which the Minister in the other place also referred when discussing this matter—can the Minister give an example of what specified circumstance or condition would have to be met in order for a pharmacist to be responsible for more than one premises at a time? Noble Lords on this side of the Committee are seeking to establish how wide the regulatory provisions will be and whether they will undermine a system that has served patient safety extremely well for a very long time just so that one particular advance can go ahead. It will be for noble Lords to weigh up whether such an advance would be sufficiently beneficial to change the existing rules. Can the Minister give such an example?
