Proceeding contribution from Baroness Miller of Chilthorne Domer (Liberal Democrat) in the House of Lords on Tuesday, 23 May 2006. It occurred during Debate on bill and Committee proceeding on Animal Welfare Bill.
Animal Welfare Bill
I thank the Minister for pointing out the direction of the Government’s thinking. I am not entirely clear about exactly what are their intentions, but we have had a very good debate on the issue. It has certainly opened it up. I thank all Members of the Committee who have spoken in this debate and I look forward to coming back to the issue on Report. In the mean time, I beg leave to withdraw the amendment. Amendment, by leave, withdrawn. [Amendment No. 13 not moved.]
