Proceeding contribution from Baroness Byford (Conservative) in the House of Lords on Tuesday, 23 May 2006. It occurred during Debate on bill and Committee proceeding on Animal Welfare Bill.
Animal Welfare Bill
I was not suggesting for one moment that people should do so because clearly there are different roles for both. However, perhaps I may put the question again to the Minister: Crufts is a very big international show, so presumably anyone wanting to bring over a foreign dog to show in that competition will be unable to do so if this provision goes through.
