Proceeding contribution from Lord Hutton of Furness (Labour) in the House of Commons on Thursday, 25 May 2006. It occurred during Ministerial statement on Pensions Reform.
Pensions Reform
The 1 per cent. tax relief in the NPSS will be paid in the normal way that tax relief is paid into existing occupational schemes. My hon. Friend raises a wider point that several other hon. Members have also referred to and, although I do not want to repeat a standard answer, all matters to do with tax relief are for my right hon. Friend the Chancellor. I know that he will be considering those matters.
