Proceeding contribution from Duke of Montrose (Conservative) in the House of Lords on Wednesday, 14 June 2006. It occurred during Debate on bill and Committee proceeding on Animal Welfare Bill.
Animal Welfare Bill
I am grateful for that explanation. The point I want to make in response is that I do not see how our amendment would restrict the areas to which the court could direct, given that paragraph (d) states,"““any other person whom the court is satisfied has the appropriate training and qualification””." However, in the mean time I beg leave to withdraw the amendment. Amendment, by leave, withdrawn.
