Proceeding contribution from Lord Naseby (Conservative) in the House of Lords on Monday, 19 June 2006. It occurred during Debate on bill on Health Bill.
Health Bill
My Lords, I have done a little research on Europe. It seems that the whole of Europe is inconsistent and we are about the only country that will, allegedly, be consistent. The Minster mentioned the Road Haulage Association, which I also checked on. Essentially, its membership is composed of heavy goods vehicle drivers. We also have thousands upon thousands of white van drivers. Frankly, the provision is just totally unworkable.
