Proceeding contribution from Lord Warner (Labour) in the House of Lords on Monday, 19 June 2006. It occurred during Debate on bill on Health Bill.

Health Bill

My Lords, I stand by what I have said: we are consistent between mobile and non-mobile workplaces. I accept that many noble Lords do not share our position. We could stay here all night arguing about whether we agree with each other’s positions; I would still say the same thing at the end of the night and would still be up here arguing that we are consistent in this area. I remind noble Lords that Ireland and Scotland—those closest to home, so to speak—have the same provisions. I understand that some noble Lords do not agree with us.
