Proceeding contribution from Robert Syms (Conservative) in the House of Commons on Wednesday, 28 June 2006. It occurred during Debate on bill on Electoral Administration Bill.

Electoral Administration Bill

Excellent. The Lords have considered the issue and given us an opportunity: they have given the Government an opportunity to think again. We should stick with the measure, because we all know that it is the right thing to do. Why not do it now rather than putting it off for a few more years, by which time there will be other examples of fraud which will annoy voters?
