Proceeding contribution from Bob Spink (Conservative) in the House of Commons on Wednesday, 28 June 2006. It occurred during Adjournment debate on Antisocial Behaviour.
Antisocial Behaviour
I have listened carefully to the debate and I note that one area has not yet been fully addressed. May I encourage my hon. Friend and the Minister to comment on it? When the terms of ISOs and ASBOs are breached, that needs to be taken extremely seriously by the courts, otherwise those instruments will fall into disrepute and become ineffective very quickly. Are the Government interested in issuing clearer instructions to the Crown Prosecution Service and the Courts Service so that breaches of ISOs and ASBOs are taken extremely seriously?
