Education and Inspections Bill
Despite the Government giving nothing other than pragmatic grounds for opposing the Joint Committee’s report, it is not appropriate to test the opinion of the House at this stage. We shall have to watch what happens in the courts but I urge the Government to consult further. Lords amendment No. 46 agreed to.
