Proceeding contribution from Lord Hain (Labour) in the House of Commons on Tuesday, 21 November 2006. It occurred during Debate on bill and Committee of the Whole House (HC) on Northern Ireland (St Andrews Agreement) Bill.

Northern Ireland (St Andrews Agreement) Bill

The right hon. Gentleman accurately describes the circumstances of suspension. What we are concerned with now—I pay tribute to the right hon. Gentleman on his own role in it—is getting devolution up and running, which his party has long supported.
