Proceeding contribution from Philip Dunne (Conservative) in the House of Commons on Monday, 27 November 2006. It occurred during Queen's speech debate on Treasury and Work and Pensions.
Treasury and Work and Pensions
Which would the hon. Gentleman regard as the more overtly political: making a statement, as did the Minister for Trade, that he would give up a day’s salary, or telling customers of Farepak—I am doing this with my constituents—that if their agents paid their subscription by credit card, they are likely to be protected under the Consumer Credit Act 2006 and can get their money back? Indeed, one of my constituents has already got more than £3,000 back.
