Proceeding contribution from Lord James of Blackheath (Conservative) in the House of Lords on Wednesday, 17 January 2007. It occurred during Debate on bill and Committee proceeding on Corporate Manslaughter and Corporate Homicide Bill.
Corporate Manslaughter and Corporate Homicide Bill
I am grateful for that response. In the spirit of that response, will the Minister consider including some clarifying statement to make that point clear, because the very factthat there is no reference here is causing misunderstanding? I know of one major bank that is issuing instructions to all the trusts that it controls to beware exactly the hazard that I have described. It will be very detrimental.
