Proceeding contribution from Lord Lee of Trafford (Liberal Democrat) in the House of Lords on Thursday, 18 January 2007. It occurred during Debate on bill and Committee proceeding on Corporate Manslaughter and Corporate Homicide Bill.
Corporate Manslaughter and Corporate Homicide Bill
I support the noble Lord, Lord Hunt, and Amendment No. 95. Amendments Nos. 96 and 97 would extend the territorial jurisdiction to include any place of detention operated by the United Kingdom Armed Forces, and more generally. We believe that they make sense.
