Proceeding contribution from Lord Henley (Conservative) in the House of Lords on Tuesday, 27 March 2007. It occurred during Committee of the Whole House (HL) and Debate on bill on Serious Crime Bill [HL].
Serious Crime Bill [HL]
I have had an assurance from the Minister that the first half of my amendment will be covered in that the guidance will be published. Therefore, I probably have to accept that it would be a sub-optimal use of resources to go that one step further and lay it before both Houses of Parliament. I therefore accept the advice of the Minister that my amendment is unnecessary. I beg leave to withdraw the amendment. Amendment, by leave, withdrawn. Schedule 7, as amended, agreed to. Schedule 8 agreed to. Clauses 67 to 69 agreed to. Schedule 9 agreed to. Clauses 70 and 71 agreed to. Schedule 10 [Powers to recover cash: financial investigators]:
