Proceeding contribution from Lord Hanningfield (Conservative) in the House of Lords on Tuesday, 19 June 2007. It occurred during Debate on bill on Greater London Authority Bill.
Greater London Authority Bill
My Lords, I thank the Minister for that answer. Obviously, I am disappointed that she did not go further. I think that she recognised the importance to the people of London of the London Transport Users Committee; she said that in Committee and today. It looks as if we will have to be satisfied with that rather than get the amendment that we want. With that, I beg leave to withdraw the amendment. Amendment, by leave, withdrawn.
