Proceeding contribution from Baroness Anelay of St Johns (Conservative) in the House of Lords on Tuesday, 3 July 2007. It occurred during Debate on bill on Offender Management Bill.

Offender Management Bill

My Lords, I rise simply to thank the Minister for accepting the amendment I tabled in Committee. He will not be surprised if I tease him just a little. When I put forward this amendment in Committee, the Minister said that not only would the Government consider it, but that they would also come back with a drafting that fits the Bill. I am just pleased to note that not only have the Government accepted the principle, they have also for once accepted my drafting. I am grateful to the Minister. On Question, amendment agreed to.
