Proceeding contribution from Earl Howe (Conservative) in the House of Lords on Monday, 23 July 2007. It occurred during Committee of the Whole House (HL) and Debate on bill on Local Government and Public Involvement in Health Bill.

Local Government and Public Involvement in Health Bill

I shall reflect very carefully on what the Minister said about strategic health authorities. I apologise to the Committee if I said anything misleading. It was my firm impression that strategic health authorities were intimately involved in specialised commissioning groups and that therefore they were eminently appropriate bodies to have to report on those activities.
