Proceeding contribution from Lord Hanningfield (Conservative) in the House of Lords on Thursday, 6 December 2007. It occurred during Debate on bill and Committee proceeding on Local Transport Bill [HL] Bill.

Local Transport Bill [HL] Bill

I think that the Minister has accepted one amendment in this group but I still hope that he will reflect on what the noble Baroness, Lady Scott, said. Perhaps we should take a lot of the consultation and put it in guidance as well, leaving some in the Bill and some not in the Bill. I am sure that we will all reflect on this matter before Report, as I hope the Minister will do. I beg leave to withdraw the amendment. Amendment, by leave, withdrawn. Clause 2 agreed to. Clause 3 [The senior traffic commissioner]: [Amendments Nos. 1A to 4 not moved.]
