Proceeding contribution from Lord Hanningfield (Conservative) in the House of Lords on Thursday, 6 December 2007. It occurred during Debate on bill and Committee proceeding on Local Transport Bill [HL] Bill.
Local Transport Bill [HL] Bill
What I was trying to get from the Minister was why it was, to a certain extent, mentioned almost twice. I accept his answer—that they are trying to reinforce those issues—as long as the local issues are taken into account in developing it. That is the important thing about it. I beg leave to withdraw the amendment. Amendment, by leave, withdrawn.
