Proceeding contribution from Baroness Crawley (Labour) in the House of Lords on Monday, 17 December 2007. It occurred during Debate on bill and Committee proceeding on Local Transport Bill [HL].
Local Transport Bill [HL]
My noble friend has made a very reasonable request. Having looked at Clause 54 again, it seems rather surprising that there is no requirement to send a copy of a report on bus performance to the authority that is responsible for local transport policy. I am happy to reflect on the points that my noble friend made and see whether we can come up with a suitable amendment at Report. With that reassurance, I hope that my noble friend will withdraw the amendment.
