Human Fertilisation and Embryology Bill [HL]
My Lords, before the Minister sits down, can she clarify the extent of the Government’s powers to put something in guidance? I recollect that it would be within the discretion of the HFEA, and I am not sure that there could be a guarantee that something would be in guidance. I may be wrong and that when draft guidance goes to the department something can be inserted, but I am not sure that I recollect that.
