Proceeding contribution from Earl of Onslow (Conservative) in the House of Lords on Wednesday, 27 February 2008. It occurred during Debates on delegated legislation on Prevention of Terrorism Act 2005 (Continuance in force of sections 1 to 9) Order 2008.
Prevention of Terrorism Act 2005 (Continuance in force of sections 1 to 9) Order 2008
The Minister said, and I have no reason to doubt him, that large numbers of plots have been aborted. How many prosecutions have resulted per plot? There must be a plot/prosecution ratio. If hundreds of plots have been aborted, there should have been more prosecutions. I am fishing for information; I am a seeker after the truth.
