Proceeding contribution from Adrian Bailey (Labour) in the House of Commons on Tuesday, 4 March 2008. It occurred during Debate on bill and Committee of the Whole House (HC) on European Union (Amendment) Bill.

European Union (Amendment) Bill

My apologies, Sir Alan. I shall reorientate myself. The subsidy that the Government provide is about £160 million, and it has been agreed by the European Union. So I do not think that the facts square up with my hon. Friend's argument.
