Proceeding contribution from Greg Hands (Conservative) in the House of Commons on Thursday, 27 March 2008. It occurred during Topical debate on Policing in London.
Policing in London
May I correct something the hon. Gentleman said? I have a copy of the transport manifesto of my hon. Friend the Member for Henley (Mr. Johnson). It clearly states:"““Boris will fund a trial of live CCTV on the 20 most dangerous routes””" and:"““We will cut the Transport for London advertising budget by £16.5 million to pay for the PCSOs and the CCTV trial””." So my hon. Friend is definitely committed to having CCTV.
