Proceeding contribution from Lord Thomas of Gresford (Liberal Democrat) in the House of Lords on Wednesday, 2 April 2008. It occurred during Debate on bill on Criminal Justice and Immigration Bill.

Criminal Justice and Immigration Bill

My Lords, the Minister said that we have a threshold of two years but that really means four years. So if you want a threshold of four years, you mean eight. I do not follow that. That may be my fault; it probably is.
