Proceeding contribution from David Ruffley (Conservative) in the House of Commons on Wednesday, 23 April 2008. It occurred during Opposition day on Crime (London).

Crime (London)

The hon. Gentleman has made half of a good point, in the sense that there is confusion and a bit of argy-bargy about statistics. However, he should have listened carefully to what I was quoting, because he would have realised that the British crime survey and the Metropolitan Police Service are pretty objective sources of data, which the Labour party choose to ignore when it suits them.
