Proceeding contribution from Lord Pearson of Rannoch (UK Independence Party) in the House of Lords on Wednesday, 4 June 2008. It occurred during Debate on bill on European Union (Amendment) Bill.
European Union (Amendment) Bill
My Lords, at Report I believe that I am able to press the noble Lord on unanswered questions. I know that we are in a hurry, so I will note that seven of my questions were not answered; but there is one that he should answer. If we are looking for reform and if in Committee he said that only seven other countries support us in the reform of the common fisheries and common agricultural policies, can he tell us how many countries support us and, therefore, how possible is reform within the European Union?
