Pensions Bill

There are some moments when I get the idea that I am being dropped on from a great height. This is one of those moments. I am surprised that the Minister thought so little of this idea, because there would be an enormous saving in administration. One of the things on which we are all agreed is that the scheme must be kept as simple and as cheap as possible. This was one way to achieve that. Clearly, however, we will not get any further tonight, so I beg leave to withdraw the amendment. Amendment, by leave, withdrawn. Clause 7, as amended, agreed to.
